Effective date: April 14, 2026

Last updated: August 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Grani Training (“we”, “our”, or “us”) handles information when you use the TenReps mobile application.

1. Who We Are

TenReps is provided by Grani Training.

2. Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to your use of the TenReps mobile application.

3. Information We Collect

TenReps is designed to collect as little information as possible. The app primarily stores user-entered data locally on your device.

Depending on how you use the app, TenReps may store locally on your device information such as:

  • workout plans
  • workout history
  • completed exercises
  • sets, repetitions, and weights
  • exercise preferences
  • training settings
  • progress information entered by you

This information is used only to provide the core functionality of the app.

4. No Account Registration

TenReps does not require you to create an account.

We do not collect account registration information such as usernames, passwords, or user profiles for the core use of the app.

5. No Cloud Storage

TenReps does not store your personal workout data on our servers.

Your workout data and training-related information are stored locally on your device unless otherwise clearly stated in a future version of the app.

If you turn on the optional health sharing described in Section 7.1, the workout entries TenReps writes to Apple Health or Health Connect also remain on your device, in the health app’s own on-device storage. They are not sent to us.

6. No Analytics and No Advertising Tracking

TenReps does not use third-party analytics tools to track your behavior in the app.

TenReps does not use third-party advertising SDKs.

TenReps does not track you across apps, websites, or services owned by other companies.

TenReps does not sell your personal information.

7. Health and Fitness Information

TenReps may process fitness-related information that you enter into the app, such as workout performance, exercise selections, repetitions, sets, weights, and training preferences.

This information is used solely to provide workout planning, workout tracking, and progress features within the app.

7.1 Optional sharing with Apple Health and Health Connect

TenReps offers an optional feature that saves your completed workouts to your device’s health app: Apple Health (HealthKit) on iOS, or Health Connect on Android.

This feature is turned off by default. It is only active if you turn it on — either on the last step of onboarding or later in Settings — and grant the permission your operating system asks for. You can turn it off again at any time in Settings, and you can withdraw the permission at any time in Apple Health or Health Connect.

What TenReps writes. For each workout you complete while the feature is on, TenReps saves a single workout entry containing:

  • the activity type (strength training)
  • the start time and end time of the workout
  • the workout name
  • the time zone of the workout

TenReps does not write your exercises, sets, repetitions, weights, body measurements, heart rate, or calorie estimates to the health app.

Writing only, never reading. The feature is one-directional. TenReps only requests permission to write workouts and never requests or receives permission to read any data from Apple Health or Health Connect. TenReps cannot see any other health or fitness data on your device.

Where the data goes. The entries are written to the health app on your own device. They are not transmitted to Grani Training, and we have no access to them. Once an entry is in your device’s health app, that app controls it — including whether other applications may read it. Apple Health and Health Connect only allow another app to read your workout data if you grant that app permission yourself.

Deleting the data. If you delete a workout in TenReps while health sharing is permitted, TenReps also removes the corresponding entry from the health app. If you use “Erase all data” in TenReps, TenReps removes all entries it has written. Entries written before you restored a backup, or written before you withdrew the permission, may remain in the health app; you can delete TenReps data directly in Apple Health or Health Connect at any time, and doing so does not affect your workout history inside TenReps.

No other use. We do not use health data for advertising or marketing, we do not sell it, we do not share it with third parties, and we do not store it in iCloud or on any server.

TenReps is fully functional without this feature. Turning it off changes nothing about how the app plans, tracks, or analyses your training.

8. Data Sharing

We do not share your personal information with third parties, except where required to:

  • comply with applicable law
  • respond to lawful requests from public authorities
  • protect our legal rights
  • investigate fraud, misuse, or security issues related to the app

The optional health sharing described in Section 7.1 is not an exception to this: it writes data to a health app on your own device at your request, and does not transmit anything to us or to any third party.

9. Data Retention

Because TenReps stores data locally on your device, you control how long that data remains available.

If you delete the app, local data stored by the app may also be deleted, subject to the behavior of your device and operating system.

Workout entries that TenReps has written to Apple Health or Health Connect are stored by those apps rather than by TenReps, and may remain after TenReps is deleted. You can remove them in Apple Health or Health Connect.

10. Data Security

We aim to design TenReps in a privacy-conscious manner and to minimize data collection.

However, no method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children’s Privacy

TenReps is not directed to children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us at info@granitraining.fi.

12. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws, including rights related to access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal data.

Because TenReps is designed to store data locally on your device rather than on our servers, many privacy-related actions can be carried out directly by you within the app or by deleting the app and its local data. Workout entries shared with Apple Health or Health Connect can be reviewed and deleted directly in those apps.

If you contact us regarding a privacy question, we will do our best to assist you as required by applicable law.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

If we make changes, we will post the updated version and revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
